Social value and procurement – a toolkit for housing providers & contractors

Resource document background info

“Housing providers are expected to deliver more than ever before, but with less resource. Many are now turning to the supply chain to generate social value, but both housing providers and contractors have some key questions”

“This new toolkit is user-friendly and easy to navigate, with step by step guidance, detailed guidance on relevant legislation, and an extensive Tool Bank, containing examples, templates, checklists and resources that cover the life cycle of the procurement process.

HACT, with support from Trowers & Hamlins LLP and echelon Consultancy Ltd, has worked with Affinity Sutton, AkzoNobel, the Northern Housing Consortium, North Hertfordshire Homes, Mulalley, Riverside, Thrive Homes, United Living, Wandle, Riverside and Wates to develop this toolkit, taking into account both client and contractor perspectives to help answer these questions.”
