Former Remploy Manager founded Ayudante CIC, a social enterprise delivering services and work opportunities for individuals who are disadvantaged in the labour market.
What did you do?
Ayudante, created by former Remploy Manager was created out of the desire to collaborate and work with disadvantaged people in the labour market. Ayudante collaborated with BITA Pathways and Colebridge Enterprises to provide learning, training and employment for adults with learning, physical disability or mental health challenges affecting their ability to obtain work in the labour market. There three enterprises have formed a consortium and are being supported by the SEWM (Social Enterprise West Midlands). Creating this social enterprise has not only helped many people become job-ready, but has also connected like-minded social enterprises to magnify impact as a larger unified entity.
